Will 0.9.32 change anything on the current situation that you need to
install an 1.2.x client on your own?

The problem is that many users are "stuck" with 1.1 (Ubuntu Hoary:
1.1.1, Debian Sarge: 1.1.4) and probably will be for a long time (2
years until Etch?).

If 0.9.30 would be a branch and still be supported with bug fixes there
would be no problem at all, but this does not seem to be the case. What
will you do if suddenly a security problem appears on all versions of
Subclipse?

I hoped that I could somehow use JavaSVN to work around the problem
(since it is easy to install), but JavaSVN does also only offer the old
API (as of 0.8.8.1).

Andreas
