Looking for compatible subclipse and subversion

I'm trying to find compatible versions of subclipse and subversion.

I'm currently using subversion 1.0.8 because it's the latest available from
the Fedora update site.

I'm using subclipse 0.9.22 because the installation instructions for
subclipse tells you to point to an update site and that was the only one
available.

My client runs windows while the server runs Linux (Fedora, as above). I'm
connecting using svn+ssh.

I can't seem to connect and I'm assuming that it's a version incompatibility
problem. I am able to connect to the repository using TortoiseSVN.
