I do not think it makes sense to assume. If the date is so simple and
agreed upon, then why can't we just say what it is so that there is no
confusion? I could easily be off by a week, if Hyrum interprets it as I
will make the tarball on that date, as opposed to I will make the tarball
early enough that we can release on that day.

The main date I care about is when the tarball will be available. I know
Hyrum cannot predict the signatures and we have been really inconsistent on
those lately. That said, I think making it clear to everyone when the
tarball will be available and the schedule we want to follow for release
might help smooth that out. I think knowing the time for the tarball would
also help. Sometimes Hyrum does it late in the evening US time, and other
times not.
