Unfortunately, I suspect that it won't. The Subversion devs have a
large crossover with Apache, so we've been very well aware of it ever
since the Apache repository was constructed. And still... nobody has
been motivated to tackle it :-(

And I guess you can blame that on me. I advocated for the mother repos
at the ASF. Suckers bought into it. ;-)
