This also shows up on OSX and Linux 32-bit. I think the build system
for the Ruby bindings is just broken. At least once we get this new
buildbot working and online we ought to be able to better identify the
revisions that start these sort of breakages. I know I was
successfully building the bindings on *nix a couple weeks ago, but
cannot anymore.
