Sorry for the delay in reply.

I had taken a look at the merge in the SVN source code. Instead of
using a unified diff file I saw it uses three file Others, Mine and
Older!!! After that I really dint bother to read more as I felt the
direction in which I was looking was wrong. Let us create the branch
for merging!! But some CVS users would like to have that feature of
creating a diff file with all the info.
