Unfortunately though the Book says otherwise "ssl-authorities-file" is
now replaced by "ssl-authority-files" which is supposed to be a
semi-colon-seperated list of authority files. That should solve your
problem.

(I submitted a patch to fix the doc Nov. 7 but it hasn't made it in yet.)
