Eww. I like the hidden directory on Unix. And, I'm fairly sure that we
shouldn't break every WC in existance if we disallow .svn. So, I strongly
prefer any solution to fully support .svn.

Breaking repositories from time to time is moderately okay, but not so for
working copies. -- justin
