I think the issue is that you're being a bit aggressive with your emails.
Slow down. There isn't a need to jump into every issue. Provide some time
for others to respond and then provide your own well-considered ideas.

It seems people are reacting to the amount and style of your posts to the
list. The developer culture here is a bit more relaxed and laid back than
that. Take a cue from the others, and I think you'll have fewer issues.

Also recognize that Subversion is nearing its final release point. I
believe we'll create the stabilization branch in a few weeks, but the
overall position that we're moving towards that point. Please consider
your posts in light of that current position. An "idea of the moment" will
be evaluated with respect to that effort. If your idea doesn't mesh well,
then it will be (for better or worse) dismissed. Positioning your ideas
for post-1.0, future directions will generate a better response for those
concepts, but you will also receive a low-level of feedback since people
are not as concerned with post-1.0 right now.

Ideas are very welcome, but I believe you need to slow down and see where
the community is today, then adjust your posting style to mesh with that.
You will get a much better reception, and I think you'll also make the
other developers more comfortable with your ideas.

Cheers,
