Hmm. Looks like the rpm perl auto-dependency thing is being exceptionally
stupid.
"strict" isn't a module - its a pragma. I wonder why this isn't biting Red
Hat users.

I suggest you try an ordinary compile - i.e. not packaging - first. That
way, you can eliminate any build problems first, free from potential
interference from RPM.
