Don't the latest svn*.info require the new libtool from fink to be
installed? I guess this didn't help.

The odd thing is that I've never seen any problems with this. Why
do some people have problems and others don't, since they're all
presumably using Fink in the same manner.

Could we do a work around and set DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH to have the new
binaries use the old one?

Maybe we could use the -quiet flag from fink somehow, if it could
set an environmental variable, which it doesn't seem to. It could
be named FINK_QUIET.
