Yes. That happened with the last revision update. The problem is that
the tests are picking up the libraries install in /sw/lib instead of
the just built ones. This leads to problems if the user is upgrading
e.g. from version 0.26.0 since the libraries are not compatible.

Quite a few other users of subversion have already complained about
this behavior and it seems to be related to certain libtool
configurations. (see e.g.
<http://www.contactor.se/~dast/svn/archive-2003-08/0066.shtml>). I
didn't find a solution to this problem yet. That's way I disabled the
tests. If anybody could help me here, that would be great!

Asking the user might be a possibility. However, I normally think it is
better to have no user interaction during a package compile. What do
