RE: 0.18.1 client can't talk to up-to-date server

It was talked about on the list, in the mailthread leading up to the
release... Didn't pay that much attention to what was in the releasenotes,
but I do remember that the decision was cast to put this incompatible change
in now and go ahead with it since at some point it had to be done anyways.

Subject: 0.18.1 client can't talk to up-to-date server

Hello,
I've just got the following:

bash-2.05a$ svn up
svn: RA layer request failed
svn: REPORT request failed on /lvk/trunk/nmmgui
svn: The REPORT request returned invalid XML in the response: Unknown XML
element `repository-uuid (in http://subversion.tigris.org/xmlns/dav/)'.
(/lvk/trunk/nmmgui)
bash-2.05a$ svn --version
svn, version 0.18.1 (r5118)
   compiled Mar 3 2003, 07:24:38

The server is at revision 5273.

After browsing log messages, I see that this element was added in revision
4916, later reverted and reapplied in revision 5069. But 5069 was never
merged to 0.18.1 branch. So, 0.18.1 client cannot update with up-to-date
server.

Not sure that anything can be done or should be done about it, but wanted to

inform about this incompatibility. I did not see it mentioned in CHANGES.
