How's this for an idea of how to marshal it:
What about as a property that's exposed by every mod_dav_svn collection?
i.e. svn:repo-guid

That way all WCs all know their current directories repository GUID in
the entries file. This solves the "which repository did this WC
directory come from" problem UI applications have.

Stirs the pot a little bit more,
