PHP + SWIG and SVN

Having happily converted all of my personal projects to Subversion, I'm now
trying to integrate it into my business workflow. We have a web-based project
management application written in PHP, and it integrates with CVS for bug
tracking, task management, & so forth.

I'd like to achieve similar integration with Subversion, and the SWIG bindings
seem to be the way to do it. Having never used SWIG before, I'm looking for
some feedback from those who have. Would it be a huge task to get a PHP
module running using SWIG? Are the SWIG->PHP bindings relatively stable? And
finally, would anyone else be interested in the module if I get it working?

Thanks,
Ben
