It's no problem with non English Windows systems. And
c:\progra~1\cygnus\cygwin\bin\ are messing with the path but does not
destroy anything.

Some examples about the "Program Files" standard location:
* Mine is "F:\Program". This means that the diffs path is
  and looks like:
* In Sweden, the standard location is C:\Program. Then the
  location looks like above.
* In Norway it's C:\Programfiler wich means that the path
  appears to be in:

English speaking vendors are often hard coding the "C:\Program Files"
path in installers and programs. The resoult for many non English
Windows users (including me) are that they are blessed with the DOS path
"c:\progra~2\" under the no needed "C:\Program Files" path.

By the way: I will upload a new Windows distro later today with HTML help
documentation and the latest svn*.zip included. Any chance of making the
ntpath program for Win9x? If not, then I will consider to use the
existing ntpath and ask the Win9x users to do it manually under
