If it will be generic SCM practices, there is already a repo in the
"scm" project at http://scm.tigris.org. I would be glad to grant
developer status in that project and carry on discussions in the
dev@scm.tigris.org mailing list. Now might be a good time to join
that list.

The "scm" category contains SCM projects on tigris.org, but it is also
a workspace for content related to source code management in general.
That project already has a list of existing SCM tools and I am hoping
to gather user experience reports and produce some comparisons. So, a
best practices guide definately fits, and the overall contents of the
repo will be more than just a few pages.

jason!
