Sorry. I meant the *output* ... not the 260k configure script :-(

for apr-util, let's see what it thought about expat. There should be a
section in the apr-util sub-config process where it looks for Expat.

I'd like to see what decisions it made. And where those decisions don't
correspond to "Right", then we can look at config.log portions. Or if the
decisions look right, but don't work, then we can go look at some Makefiles
or somesuch, to see what was generated.
