Here's that mail.

Very soon, we'll be asking all developers to checkout fresh working
copies of the source tree. Here's why:

  * dav checkouts will now bring down the 'binary' properties
    correctly -- which we all need.

  * SVN/ will be changed to .svn/

  * you'll be able to checkout 'svn/trunk' instead of being forced to
    checkout 'svn'. (i.e. no more annoying trunk directory in your wc)

Once gstein believes that properties are working over dav updates and
commits, I'll send out the word to everyone.
