If you're hardware looks ok, they still may be some problems with
things like the filesystem of the OS hosting your repos. Last year I
for example had a problem with a virtualized Windows 2003 R2 which
suddenly got corrupted filesystems after years of running without any
problems and no powerloss er else in the last weeks. The repos got
corrupted, I restored them from a backup and some days later the same
problem occured again. This time I restored to a newly created
filesystem and again the repos run fine for months now. This may be an
option for you, as all my other services on the same server ran fine,
too.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen,

Thorsten Schöning
