   Actually a typo. meant it wasn't reproducing the situation.

   The attached script mostly reproduces the problem. I've got my repo.
into a state where it simply *won't* pull this file in, from any level under
any name. And it's not my WC that's a stuffed, a fresh checkout gives the
same error (ditto the attached test).

   Am I just doing something wrong?
