I just checked out a WC of about 434 MB (close to 1800 files) with the
latest 1.6 TortoiseSVN and TortoiseSVN 1.6.99, Build 21903 (yes, it's
a couple weeks old) and Windows Task Manager shows TortoiseProc using
16.8MB for 1.6 and 24.8MB for 1.7.

wc.db is only 280KB.

Not terribly scientific, and I'm sure there's some tuning that's been
done since the 1.7 build I'm using at the moment was put together.
