   That all sounds fine¹; you will need 'svn switch --relocate <new-url>'
to maintain each existing working copy, as you surmised.

   The only thing you might have to watch out for above what you listed is
that the new server has the same tool set that the old one does, so that the
copied hook scripts still work.

¹ - However I have rarely done this myself :)
