Yes, I don't see any reason why that wouldn't work.

Use the same version of Subversion on Windows 7 that you were using on Windows XP. If you do not -- if you use a later Subversion client on Windows 7 for example -- it will automatically upgrade your working copies to a format earlier Subversion clients won't understand, and then you won't be able to use the working copy on Windows XP anymore (unless you then upgrade your Subversion client on Windows XP).

Repositories are not automatically upgraded so this would not be a problem for the server process.
