Can a repository be used by multiple SVN servers?

Hello,
I use the latest SVN server and client (tortoise) on Windows XP.
Recently I installed Windows 7. I want to continue working in SVN but
now under W7. So I wonder: can I install a new SVN server and client
in W7, point it to the repository I used under XP?

Will all my existing revisions be visible in the new W7 SVN server?
Will commits I make under w7 SVN be visible when I switch back to the
XP SVN server?
Are there other issues I am not aware of
Thanks,

Marc
