Hmm, I just re-tested it. It works fine with SVN url.

You are right, Jason. The "file" URL won't require a login but SVN does.

Then I went to see my log captured by emacs why yesterday I could use svn
protocol to checkout anything. I am not sure for myself either. What I can
think of is that I didn't want to reboot when the installation was done
because I was working on something else at the same time. Certainly, the
reboot may clear the problem. I guess it must be the Windows thing - most
installations require reboot to refresh the changes.

Is there anyway to disable "file" url? Certainly, I will do some research
on this as well.
