In my limited experience (thread libsvn_ra_svn\marshal.c line 486: assertion
failed (opt || cstr)), a simple "svn cleanup" brings the working copy back in
mint shape and chases the exception away.

As to the nested directory deletion, I tried it once in 1.6.5 and it seems to
work still. Perhaps one of the directories was switched to another branch?
