That's a good suggestion. It brings much of the same meaning as
"stream", without already being overloaded by a more specific meaning.
(At least as far as I'm aware.)

(I'm not a great fan of overloading one word with multiple meanings.
At least not in technical writing. In verse, it's ok.)

"codepoint". cute. Although it'd still consider it a codeline (it does
retain its history, after all). It's just static.
