Nothing is migrated. There is also nothing to really enable in
config. It mainly depends on how your client was built. The only
time config comes into play would be if you had a client with both
gnome and KDE support, then you could decide which one to use.

Just delete your existing auth folder and let the user be prompted for
credentials again. They will then be saved in the keyring.
