Memory leak using subversion

From: Franz Josef Pelstring <franz-josef.pelstring_at_aucos.de>

Good morning,

I'm using subversion with following configuration

Linux 2.6.16.60-0.34-smp #1 SMP Fri Jan 16 14:59:01 UTC 2009 x86_64
x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
SLES 10 Patchlevel 2

subversion-server-1.5.5-23.1
subversion-1.5.5-23.1

apache2-devel-2.2.3-16.19
apache2-worker-2.2.3-16.19
apache2-prefork-2.2.3-16.19

I still have the problem that I can see a memory leak using this
configuration.
Every checkout or checkin allocates memory proportional to the file size.
Stopping an starting the apache process is ineffective, only rebooting
the system is freeing the memory.

Thanks for any help

Best regards
