merge error

I merged it from the trunk to the branch.
It stopped by the following error messages.

% svn merge -r9741:HEAD http://xxxx/svn/XXXXXXXX/SRC/trunk . --dry-run
:
svn: REPORT response handling failed to complete the editor drive

I do not understand the cause.
How should I do?
