I'm hesitant the mention this, since I don't want to people take the contents as
gospel-truth, but the developers sometimes use the roadmap page to plan out
future releases: http://subversion.tigris.org/roadmap.html The page is
currently a bit out of date, but I personally see a 1.5.5 release happening in
the next couple of weeks.

We've been trying to roll 1.5.x releases on a much closer and predictable
timeframe than past patc releases, and I'd like to think we're doing so.
Knowing that there are pending patching in a release which people are actively
waiting for certainly helps us better understand what users' priorities are.
(Just don't keep asking "are we there yet?" :) )
