Securing SVN directories

Hi chaps,
We've moved a whole load of svn repositories over to a new server. The old server, and the repositories, were all given CHMOD 777 permissions when the original person couldn't find the correct permissions.
Does anyone know what user/group and permissions should be on the SVN repository folders ?
