I have had zero issues with my SVN server running on Win2K3 under
VMWare 3 (I think - I'm not the VMWare guy in the office).
Applications have no indication that they're not running on physical
hardware, unless they rely upon hardware which the VM environment
isn't capable of virtualizing (or passing through from the host to the
VM).
