Some usage problem about svn

Hello!

        I encountered a problem while I was using svn on my Ubuntu system. I
used apt-get to install subversion client. But after my installing, I found
I cannot access to some svn server. For example, after I typed "svn ls
http://svn.xiaonei.com/repos/xiaonei", I was not required to input username
and password, instead I get error message like: "501 not Implemented". Even
I cannot visit this url throuth my firefox explorer, I get internal error
message. I can do these successfully under my windows system and others'
Ubuntu system. Is there something wrong with my ubuntu system? Do I need to
install some library or something else to my ubuntu system?
