If you use TortoiseSVN to do the move, Ctrl-Right click drag, which is
sometimes tricky, then all of the history will be preserved properly.
If you delete it later the history is still preserved so you can revert
the deletion or go back to any previous point. You would only get
conflicts if there were non atomic revisions in the history.
