PROPFIND 200 Error

I've got a PROPFIND 200 error whenever I run any CHECKOUT or UPDATE's for
any remote repository that's not under the https protocol. I didn't have
this before, and I can't check out any repo's now. I've learned that I need
a subversion proxy server, but I don't know where to start on that.
What should I do?
