Downloading SVN command-line client binaries for Windows

Hi.

This is what I was looking for: SVN command-line Windows binaries. I
didn't want to change my computer's configuration, so I wanted something
I could extract from an archive, and not some setup tool.

I went to http://subversion.tigris.org/ and clicked Windows binaries. I
was given 5 options:

1) CollabNet (Certified binaries)
2) Tigris.org: Apache 2.0
3) Tigris.org: Apache 2.2
4) SlikSVN: 32 and 64 bit client MSI
5) VisualSVN (VisualSVN Server)

So, I wanted a client, which in my mind would rule out 2), 3) and 5). I
tried 1), but I was not allowed to download anything from there. It
seems I have to become a customer of theirs to download, and I certainly
did not want to do that.

Then I tried to find something on Google without any luck.

I tried option 4), where I extracted the msi with 7zip. It contained a
cab file, which I extracted with WinRAR. That contained some files,
which sounded right, but when I tried using it, it complained about a
missing dll, and I could not find out what to do about that.

Then, even through I looked for a client and not a server, I clicked on
option 3). I then found a list with a lot of unrelated stuff, but in the
end, there was a zip. It worked!

All in all, I used almost an hour to find a download for SVN. Would it
be possible to make it easier to find? I find it very counter-intuitive,
that I have to click a link saying *Apache*, when I want a *client*.

If you want to reply to me, you can do so at

But plase do not put my email address in some public mail list archive
in an unencoded form. Use Bcc.

Thanks
Jesper Kristensen
