"Folder exists" with cvs2svn.py

I am trying to convert a lot of cvs projects from a Cvs repos to a folder "/common" in a Svn repos. The first project works ok, creating non existing folder common, but the later projects fail due to the fact that folder common already exists? I gusess I could workaround this by first importing to the root of repos, and then svn move it to the right place but this seems a bit awkward. Any way to import to an existing folder in a repos with cvs2svn?

(this is really about cvs2svn.py, but I dont know if there is another appropriate group fot that, so therefore i post in subversion-users!)
