Need Help regarding Subversion

Hello All,

I am Chintan Jariwala.
I am new to LINUX (Only 3 days old).
I wanted to use Subversion on my PC.
I have installed *Mandriva 2008.1 for i586.*
I can use *NetBeans 5.5 for Subversion Client *( I think).
I am willing (or say dying ) to use Subversion as CVS on my PC as both
Server and client.
After successful installation and use, this will be used in my office for
around 300 developers.

can u provide me the information regarding,
1. what to download (Server tools, GUI, RPM etc).
2. from where to download above things for above mentioned configuration.
3. A brief description of how to install all this to perfectly and
successfully run and use the Subversion on My PC.
4. Configuration of NetBeans 5.5 to use Subversion.

Please let me know ASAP.
