First, try to send posts to this list in ASCII. Outlook makes it hard
for people like me to reply to non-ascii messages in anything but
top-post format.

It sounds like you want an SCC plugin for Visual Studio and/or other SCC
complient IDEs. There are a few out there, like these I got from a
quick google:

http://www.pushok.com/soft_svn.php
http://www.daveswebsite.com/software/tamtamsvn/index.shtml
http://tortoisesvnscc.tigris.org/
http://aigenta.com/products/UnifiedScc.aspx
This one lists several including VisualSVN:

Also, take a look at ankh. It doesn't use SCC, and from my personal
experience I like it better because there is no invasive SCC clutter
embedded in your project files: http://ankhsvn.open.collab.net/
<http://ankhsvn.open.collab.net/> . It does, however, have some quirks
that some might not want to accept.

I know my question may sound stupid to some, but is there a tool
that would enable SVN to act as VSS, at least for IDE integrations? As
far as I know there is a 'standard' that defines functionalities a tool
must provide to integrate with IDEs which integrate to VSS.
We are using a tool that is not common and can be integrated to
VSS, but no other SCM tools, and we're forced to use VSS instead of SVN,
which is in use in other development areas.
If this is not a question for this mailing list, please let me
know wheer to post it.

	Regards
	Bojan Furlan
