We just moved to the same setup, and we're seeing this error,
although very very rarely, on the client side as well. I also got it
on a few repositories doing the initial import into the newly built
FSFS repositories.

It's the NFS component that seems to be at fault. I found that if I
move the repositories onto local disk, the error doesn't occur.

I haven't had any luck getting a "yes this is a known bug" or "no,
that's never been seen before" out of anyone on the list, so I'm in
the process of trying to nail down exactly what causes the error
(we've found it's perfectly repeatable) so that I can file a bug in
the tracker.
