Subversion on Vista

From: johne <jeichels_at_yahoo.com>

I have been using Subversion in NetBeans 5.*/6.0 Betas on XP for quite some
time.

I just got Vista Ultimate and managed to get both Subversion
svn-python-1.4.5.win32-py2.5.exe and TortoiseSVN installed. TortoiseSVN is
working with no issue. I can download repositories.

However, though the install says it worked and showed no errors for
Subversion, there is no svn.exe file anywhere in the file system.

The big problem with this is that when I try to bring up NetBeans and pull
the code from SVN, it gives an error for not being able to find Subversion
in both NetBeans 5.* and 6.*.

Any ideas on what might be going on and what I can do? I need to get beyond
this quickly.

John
