So then you've isolated the problem to his workstation, and not to
any particular username?

How does this workstation differ from others where it works? OS, OS
version, Subversion version, repository access method, virus scanning
software, firewall software, etc. What Subversion client are you
using? (TortoiseSVN, command line, etc.?) Have you tried a different
client program on the same machine?
