Hook scripts -- Regarding

Hi all,
Can any one suggest me how to set up notification emails with svn repos.

I tried with Svn:Notify but getting some error in Net:Smtp auth
installation.

So I tried with hook scripts...
downloaded commit-email.pl but don't know how to handle...

If some one have already configured Please send me the hook script u used
for commit.

Provide me with some solution if u can....
