Hi,
 I found your message on this forum, I am facing same problem as you
 were, I have installed Subversion 1.4.5 using,

 subversion-1.4.5.tar and subversion-deps-1.4.5.tar on
 Linux localhost.localdomain 2.6.15-1.2054_FC5 #1 Tue Mar 14
 15:48:33 EST 2006 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
 I get following error message, when I invoke SVN

 svn: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/local/lib/
 libsvn_ra_dav-1.so.0: cannot restore segment prot after reloc:
 Permission denied
 
 Please help me to resolve the error.
