Large file diffs

1/ we are on

The following repository access (RA) modules are available:

* ra_dav : Module for accessing a repository via WebDAV (DeltaV)
protocol.
  - handles 'http' scheme
  - handles 'https' scheme
* ra_svn : Module for accessing a repository using the svn network
protocol.
  - handles 'svn' scheme
* ra_local : Module for accessing a repository on local disk.
  - handles 'file' scheme

2/ user had a huge (200 MB) ascii file on the trunk

3/ Issued a merge request for the file to a production branch

4/ The process just hangs ... The hardware is pretty decent running AS3
... The server is a gfs cluster ...

Any hints on where to start debugging the issue... Is this is a known
issue with large files.
