Re: error when installing subversion from source

All right, I think this may be related to the first few lines of output
from make install:
/usr/bin/install -c -d /usr/local/lib
cd subversion/libsvn_subr ; /bin/sh /tmp/subversion-1.4.5/libtool
--mode=install /usr/bin/install -c libsvn_subr-1.la
/usr/local/lib/libsvn_subr-1.la
/usr/bin/install -c .libs/libsvn_subr-1.so.0.0.0
/usr/local/lib/libsvn_subr-1.so.0.0.0
(cd /usr/local/lib && { ln -s -f libsvn_subr-1.so.0.0.0
libsvn_subr-1.so.0 || { rm -f libsvn_subr-1.so.0 && ln -s
libsvn_subr-1.so.0.0.0 libsvn_subr-1.so.0; }; })
(cd /usr/local/lib && { ln -s -f libsvn_subr-1.so.0.0.0 libsvn_subr-1.so
|| { rm -f libsvn_subr-1.so && ln -s libsvn_subr-1.so.0.0.0
libsvn_subr-1.so; }; })
/usr/bin/install -c .libs/libsvn_subr-1.lai /usr/local/lib/libsvn_subr-1.la
/usr/bin/install -c .libs/libsvn_subr-1.a /usr/local/lib/libsvn_subr-1.a

I don't know much about makefiles etc, and I wonder if the {rm -f
libsvn_subr-1.so.....}
might have anything to do with my problem? Because when I search for
libsvn_subr-1.so.0
it is not found anywhere on my system...
