RE: Can I use mailer.conf

Hey Binod,

Mailer.conf has been designed specifically for the mailer.py script. It
is possible to use it with other scripts / programs as long as they
could parse the data contained within it. If not, then you will need to
manually maintain two separate configuration files or design some
mechanism to update multiple configuration files from a single
configuration file.

Hope this helps,

A-

Subject: Can I use mailer.conf

Hi,

I was just wondering if I can use mailer.conf with a shell script that I
created to send email to developers. Right now my script just sends the
email to every developers and it can't distinguish between the projects,
and I think mailer.conf does that.

So does anyone have any idea on whether it is possible to use
mailer.conf with any kind of shell script or not? Or mailer.conf is
specifically for mailer.py?

Thanks,
Binod
