Automatically repeating update operation in case of communication faliure

Hi All,

I am wondering if there is a way to automatically repeat a log/update
operation in case of unreliable network:

svn: PROPFIND of '/svn/repository/path': could not connect to server

We have a customer who experiences intermittent connection
failures, so I wanted to check with the community before diving
into a custom solution.
